Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making. The successful candidate will transform complex data into meaningful insights, reports, and dashboards that help teams identify trends, improve performance, and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and potential issues.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Work with business teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations.
- Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support forecasting, business planning, and performance analysis.
- Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, methodologies, and reporting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience working with data analysis and reporting.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Experience working with large datasets and databases.
- Familiarity with ETL/data transformation processes.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Azure.
- Understanding of business intelligence and KPI reporting.
